I am so incredibly excited to announce that I'm going to be exhibit my original Bingata items in London, Hyper Japan which is the exciting J-culture event! My name is “Beni Wakana” and I am a Bingata dye artist. Bingata, colorful dye art, has been loved in Okinawa, Japan, since Ryukyu Dynasty (1429-1879). I had a training in Okinawa to learn the Bingata dye techniques which became my passion. I cherish every moment of it with my hands from classical standard pattern to my original design. Currently, I am working with various talented artists to create collaborated colorful and eye entertaining items. Please feel free to come and enjoy my colorful world of Bingata.
